Who we are
At Zetesis, we have deliberately remained a small, dedicated group of senior clinical academics, believing that quality of expertise matters more than quantity of consultants. Each member of our team brings dual perspectives as both an experienced clinician and an accomplished educator, ensuring our guidance is grounded in the realities of healthcare practice while embracing the best in educational innovation.
Our consultants hold positions across six different UK universities, bringing together diverse institutional perspectives and approaches to healthcare education. This breadth of experience means we understand the varied challenges facing different institutions, and collectively we possess significant experience across all modalities of health professions education – from traditional lecture-based learning to problem-based curricula, from simulation training to clinical apprenticeship models, and from face-to-face delivery to digital and blended learning approaches.
What unites us is our unwavering commitment to helping both students and institutions thrive. We understand that excellence in healthcare education requires supporting individual learners while simultaneously strengthening the systems that nurture them. Our small size ensures that every client works directly with senior academics who are personally invested in their success, maintaining the collegial, collaborative approach that has defined Zetesis from the very beginning.
What we do
Our work covers three interconnected areas.
Supporting Individuals
We provide personalised support to individual students throughout their entire health professions journey. From initial applications through undergraduate study and into early postgraduate careers, our consultancy services help students navigate challenges, optimise their learning strategies, and achieve their professional aspirations. Each student receives tailored guidance from senior academics who understand both the demands of healthcare education and the diverse pathways to success within it.
Working with Institutions
We work alongside healthcare faculty and institutions to strengthen their educational provision at every stage of the student lifecycle. Our institutional consultancy focuses on enhancing student access through refined admissions processes, improving the student experience through curriculum development and support systems, and boosting retention by addressing the systemic factors that impact student success. We help institutions create environments where all students can thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Educational Resources
We develop innovative learning resources that maximise student achievement. Our highly interactive question banks go beyond simple testing, providing exceptionally high-quality questions coupled with communication systems that allow students to interact directly with examiners and question writers. This unique approach transforms revision from passive memorisation into active learning. We currently offer question banks for undergraduate study, such as our AKT bank, and postgraduate courses, such as our ATLS bank.
We produce concise and accessible information pamphlets covering key health professions education topics, from admissions strategies through to early postgraduate career planning. These resources distil our collective expertise into guides that students can reference throughout their journey. Our pamphlet series is currently being digitised and will be available through Amazon in early 2026.
